Hello!  Welcome to our Home Fellowships

Home fellowships have always been and continue to be a staple here ay CCS.  From the begining of the church when Pastor Carl and a group of others began to meet, the home fellowship setting was a real key in building relationships and more effectively ministering at deeper levels.

Now,  over 20 years later, and as the church has grown to three weekend services,  we still believe that in the home fellowship setting, friendships and relationships can be developed in ways that can elude us in the large church setting.  So, we will continue to place a priority in implememting and developing the home meetings and here's why. 

1.  The Bible tells us in Acts chapter 2 that the believers continued steadfastly, or as the NIV renders it ,  devoted themselves to  4 things;  the teaching of the Word, the fellowship, the breaking of bread, and to prayers. It goes on to say that they met in both the temple courts AND each others homes, praising God, enjoying the favor of all the people ( unbelievers as well)  and the Lord added to the number daily those who were being saved.

2.  God has gifted men and women in our church to teach His Word...that's what we do in the home fellowship setting.  

So, we rely on the group leaders to  teach the Bible; thus they assist the pastors in feeding and tending the flock.   Ideally we would love to see  all of the folks here at CCS belong to home groups and enjoy the benefits that come in these enviornments.

If you are gifted as a bible teacher or desire to host a bible study in your home, please speak to one of the pastors, fill out the application provided, and turn it in to church office.  We are excited to see what the Lord is going to do through the "home fellowship ministries".
